Promote equality and diversity through sport
Alongside major federations and leagues, we are taking concrete action to give women's sport more impactful visibility.
In Portugal, Betclic has been investing equally in both women's and men's basketball leagues since 2021. This pioneering commitment has been recognized by the awarding of the first national Gender Equality label in Sport, issued by the Portuguese Institute of Sport and Youth.
This commitment continues through awareness campaigns to strengthen the visibility of women in sport and combat discrimination - whether related to mental health, cyberbullying, representation, or diversity.
In France, Betclic actively supports several national women's teams (football, rugby, volleyball, handball) as well as local clubs in the Bordeaux region such as the Lionnes, the Boxers, and the Burdis. Since 2025, we have also been the first sports betting operator to commit alongside a professional women's championship in France: the Arkema Première Ligue.
Promote social inclusion and digital accessibility
In Côte d'Ivoire, Betclic works alongside local actors to support the professional retraining of high-level female athletes.
In France, we support organizations that work for social and professional integration through sport and digital technology, such as Entourage Sport, Konexio, or DesCodeuses, which offer training in digital professions aimed at women from disadvantaged neighborhoods or job seekers.
In partnership with La Cravate Solidaire, we also support young people in their job search through coaching programs and donations of professional attire.
This commitment is also reflected internally. Betclic has launched the Inclusive Tech Program, designed to open up digital careers to a wider audience and promote equal opportunities in access to technological careers.
Finally, every year, all our offices around the world mobilize for Diversity Week, a key time dedicated to dialogue and raising awareness on key issues such as disability, gender equality, and inclusion in all its forms.
Support local nonprofit ecosystems
Our commitment also includes supporting nonprofit networks and the direct involvement of our employees, wherever we are present.
In Malta, Betclic teams mobilize around concrete actions in favor of the environment, health, and inclusion, through initiatives such as beach clean-ups, charity runs, or actions conducted alongside Wheelchair Malta Basketball and Migrant Women Malta.
In Poland, as part of the partnership established in 2024 with Betclic 1 Liga, Betclic sponsors the Player of the Month award, chosen by fans and clubs. Each month, the entire amount is donated to a charity or foundation selected by the player.
In Côte d'Ivoire, Betclic addresses public health and safety issues, notably through blood donation campaigns and road safety awareness initiatives, including the distribution of protective equipment to motorcycle taxi drivers.
In Bordeaux, Betclic supports numerous associations and foundations dedicated to solidarity, health, the environment, and inclusion, including Nomads Ocean Care, the Bergonié Foundation, Maison RoseUp, Coquilles, Drop de Bétons, and Le Pain de l'Amitié.
Act to reduce our carbon footprint
As a major player in tech, we are aware of our environmental impact. We are taking concrete action:
Calculating our carbon footprint annually since 2023 (GHG Protocol).
Migration of our IT platforms to the Cloud.
Engagement in an SBTI process to set carbon reduction targets aligned with the 2015 Paris Agreements.
Raising awareness and training our teams on ongoing climate transformations and digital issues.
Promoting sustainable mobility: annual bonus, “bike-to-work” challenge, preference for trains during business travel.
Revaluating 100% of our IT equipment (computers, phones, screens) through charitable donations or upcycling.
