Betclic transforms iconic moments of sport into works of art

Lisbon, 15 April 2025 – On the occasion of World Art Day, Betclic highlights and recalls several significant moments in sports history, which can be transformed into true works of art. From last-minute offside calls to the action that leads to an unexpected victory goal, all these moments prove that sports is also an art, particularly the most unlikely ones, those that end in great victories in betting.

This activation features the participation of commentator Gabriel Alves who, through three films, provides a guided tour of the artworks hanging on the walls of his home – paintings depicting iconic and emotionally rich moments in sports, which have been crucial for winning bets and have thus become special for those who won them.

Because art is subjective, what is art for some may not necessarily be for others. Everyone has their unique and memorable moments, and Betclic has decided to transform them into works of art. To this end, the activation also relies on a landing page – available at obrasdeartebetclic.pt – which allows everyone to submit their own moments and immortalize them as artistic images.
