Lisbon, 21 April 2025 – Betclic is privileged to announce Ricardinho, six-time winner of the best futsal player in the world award, as the brand’s new ambassador. This partnership strengthens Betclic's commitment to Portuguese sports by associating with one of the most iconic figures in global futsal. Ricardinho, known for his talent, creativity, and competitive spirit, will be the face of numerous campaigns, exclusive content, and brand activations.
Ricardo Filipe da Silva Braga, better known as Ricardinho, is one of the greatest players in futsal history. Born in Valbom, he has excelled in the discipline and, throughout his career, has represented clubs such as Benfica, Inter Movistar, and Nagoya Oceans, winning numerous national and international titles. With the Portuguese national team, he was a key player in the victories at the 2018 European Championship and the 2021 World Cup.
Known to many as the “King of the Goats”, due to his unique ability to outmaneuver opponents with unpredictable dribbles, Ricardinho now steps onto the field alongside Betclic with a special Easter video. This festive period, where goat is one of the traditional dishes, is used as a creative concept to launch the partnership, with a touch of humor and irreverence that characterizes Betclic's identity.
