Betclic Ivory Coast and the Agora announce the launch of the BETCLIC AGORA LEAGUE

Abidjan, March 12, 2025 – Betclic Côte d'Ivoire, a key player in online sports betting in Côte d'Ivoire, announces the launch of the first edition of the BETCLIC x AGORA LEAGUE, in partnership with the AGORA. This inter-communal football competition “Small Posts” aims to provide a platform for local talents while strengthening the foundation of this discipline in the Ivorian sports landscape.

A major tournament to boost the Small Posts discipline

As a flagship sport in Côte d'Ivoire, Small Posts benefit from the BETCLIC AGORA LEAGUE, a new competition that provides an additional showcase for their talents. This first edition of the championship will bring together the best teams from Koumassi, Abobo, Yopougon and Port-Bouët, thus offering a unique opportunity for local players to stand out on a larger stage.

With 12 teams of 15 players per municipality, totaling 48 selected teams, this league promises to be a highlight of the Ivorian sports calendar. Each match will be a unique opportunity to measure talent against the best and to energize football enthusiasts in a competitive and friendly setting.

A three-stage competition format

For two months, the competition will take place every Sunday and some Saturdays, following a structured format:

• Phase 1: Group Matches (from March 30 to May 4, 2025) – 8 match days per AGORA to determine the best teams.

• Phase 2: Communal Finals (on May 11 and 18, 2025) – The 4 best teams from each municipality will face off to reach the grand final.

• Phase 3: Grand Final (Final 8) (on May 25, 2025) – The 8 best teams will meet at the AGORA in Koumassi to claim the championship title.

With a total of 283 matches, the BETCLIC AGORA LEAGUE establishes itself as a must-attend event for Small Posts enthusiasts.
