Betclic is renewing its partnerships with Union Bordeaux-Bègles, Les Lionnes du Stade Bordelais and UBB Sevens for several more seasons.

Bordeaux, 17 September 2026 - After two intense opening days in the Top 14, Betclic is renewing its partnerships with Union Bordeaux-Bègles until 2030 and the Lionnes du Stade Bordelais and UBB Sevens until 2029, demonstrating its support for the various expressions of Bordeaux rugby. 

Three teams, one shared commitment to rugby in Bordeaux 

In Bordeaux, where Betclic has been based since 2018, this ambition has been building for several years. A partner of Union Bordeaux-Bègles since 2018, Betclic has progressively extended its commitment to other components of the sport by becoming a partner of the Lionnes du Stade Bordelais in 2023 and UBB Sevens in 2024. 

These local partnerships complement the commitment made at national level alongside the French Rugby Federation as well as the National Rugby League, and enable Betclic to work closely with clubs, athletes and their fan communities. 

Men's rugby, women's rugby and rugby sevens: through these three partnerships, Betclic supports three complementary expressions of Bordeaux rugby, each driven by its own sporting dynamic and fan community. 

• With Union Bordeaux-Bègles, Betclic has supported one of the most attractive clubs in French and European rugby since 2018. Reigning double European champions, UBB is today the club that attracts the largest crowd in the Top 14, with over 30,000 fans on average during the regular season. This mobilization testifies to the club's place in Bordeaux's sporting life. 

• Alongside the Lionnes du Stade Bordelais since 2023, Betclic supports the development of women's rugby and the progress of a team that has won the French championship four times. This partnership reflects Betclic's desire to highlight female athletes and evolve the sport. 

• A partner of UBB Sevens since 2024, Betclic supports another form of rugby, faster and open to new competition formats and encounters with audiences. French champions, the team is contributing to the development of a rapidly growing discipline. 

Betclic makes its local roots an intrinsic part of its sporting commitment. This presence is part of a broader support for Bordeaux sport. Since the partnership with the LNR began in 2021, rugby betting has grown by 15%, making the discipline the 4th most bet on sport on the app. The enthusiasm is particularly visible around UBB, the second most bet on TOP 14 team on Betclic, behind Toulouse. 

With its 5.5 million players, its content and its activations, Betclic has a broadcasting capacity that allows the visibility of rugby to extend beyond the pitch. Thus, with these renewals, Betclic continues to highlight clubs and athletes, through activations, content and experiences designed to bring fans closer to the teams. 

Partner clubs will also be able to benefit from Betclic's programme dedicated to fighting the cyberbullying of athletes.
